FAQ

Why are you more/less expensive than others?

Lots of factors determine the costs associated with teaching, such as cost of living, studio rent, and upkeep. I cannot speak to the pricing strategies of others, but I try to strike a balance between affordability and reason.

Do you offer shorter/longer lessons?

I have taught 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons over the years, and have found that 60 is the ideal length of time, and so it is the only length I currently offer.

What is your attendance policy?

All cancellations must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Students who have not arrived within 15 minutes of lesson start are considered no-shows.

Do I have to be serious about pursuing music?

No! You absolutely can be, but I will help you meet your goals, whatever they may be.

What materials do I need?

Lesson specifics will be worked out during your first lesson, but in general: music binder, water bottle, pencil.

Do you offer in-home/virtual lessons?

Not at this time.
